The Writers’ Haven is a collaborative storytelling community where writers contribute short entries to an ongoing group-created story. Members can submit entries, vote on story directions, join challenges, and grow their skills through community feedback and live events.

A curated story is presented in episodes. Members contribute story segments (within word limits), and the best entries are voted in as the next part of the narrative. It’s a choose-your-own-path adventure powered by your creativity.

Yes! Our Story Explorer tier is completely free to join and lets you explore the platform, read collaborative stories, and submit one entry upon sign-up.

Absolutely. You can change your membership level at any time through your account settings.

You get 1 free submission when you sign up, access to community discussions and writing prompts, read-only access to the collaborative story, and a one-time free challenge entry.

This gives you one complimentary entry into a future paid writing challenge. Think of it as a bonus pass to get your feet wet!

You can follow along with the collaborative group story but cannot vote or contribute further entries unless you upgrade.

Your submission should be between 250–500 words.

You receive everything in the free tier, plus:

• 3 monthly submissions (500–750 words each)
• Ability to vote on story direction
• Early access to challenges
• Access to monthly community mentor feedback
• The ability to pitch original story ideas

Members vote on which submitted story entries should be added to the ongoing story.

You’ll see upcoming prompts and challenges before other tiers do and can prepare or enter early.

Everything in Story Teller, plus:

• 10 monthly submissions (up to 1,000 words)
• Access to monthly virtual workshops
• Priority feedback on submissions
• Recognition in our Writer Spotlight Series

The virtual workshops are dynamic, live online sessions packed with creative energy and expert insights. Led by guest authors, community mentors, or genre specialists, these interactive experiences feature writing exercises, group brainstorming, genre deep-dives, and live Q&As. Whether you’re working on your craft or exploring new storytelling techniques, our workshops are designed to inspire, challenge, and grow your writing  skills in real time.

Select writers get featured each month based on creativity, growth, or story contribution.

Everything in Story Builder, plus:

• Unlimited submissions (within word limits)
• The ability to pitch new story themes
• Invitations to private Q&A sessions with guest authors
• Behind-the-scenes access to platform planning
• Exclusive giveaways and paid feature opportunities

These are contests or writing projects where you can be paid for selected entries, or be published in future Writers’ Haven anthologies or spin-off stories.

You get insight into upcoming features, can vote on platform improvements, and may join beta testing groups.

Yes, as long as you have submissions available in your tier.

Yes, with À la carte options or by upgrading your tier.

Timed events where members write in response to a special prompt. Prizes, recognition, and bragging rights await!

You can manage your membership from your account dashboard. Cancel, upgrade, or update your payment method anytime.

You will keep access through the end of your billing cycle. After that, features tied to your tier will end, but your account will remain active as a free Story Explorer.
